Operations Intern (Hybrid, Salt Lake City or Lehi)

Clera introduces candidates to the startups we work with, and the operations team keeps every introduction moving. As an intern you'll work next to our Operations Associate and the founders, coordinating candidates and hiring managers from first introduction to interview.

This is a part-time internship: 20 hours a week for 3 months, starting in November 2026.

What You'll Do

• Call and text candidates to confirm interest, schedule interviews and prepare them for first conversations.
• Follow up with hiring managers to collect feedback on candidates we introduced.
• Check candidate lists for role, location and salary fit before they go to clients.
• Keep statuses, notes and next steps accurate.
• Spot recurring operational problems and propose fixes.
• Use AI tools and automation for repetitive work, and review what they produce.

What We're Looking For

• Organized, with real follow-through across several tasks at once.
• Comfortable calling people you haven't spoken to before.
• Curious about AI tools and automation.
• You finish things without being chased.
• Customer service, recruiting, scheduling, campus jobs or sales experience all count. No prior internship needed.
• Available 20 hours a week from November 2026 for 3 months.

Pay

$20 to $25 per hour, part-time (20 hours a week).

Location

Hybrid in Salt Lake City or Lehi, Utah. The first one to two weeks are in person for onboarding. Students at the University of Utah, BYU, Utah Valley and Utah State are within commuting distance.
