About this role
- Oversee DBJ's special reports, including awards, growth summits, etc.
- Represent DBJ newsroom in coordinating with events team
- Interact with and interview North Texas CEOs and business leaders
- Aid rest of editing team with publishing of digital and print coverage
- Work with editors, reporters and other stakeholders to to complete current special projects and also plan and execute new ones
Qualifications
- Digital writing and publishing skills
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Creative planner who embraces ambitious engagement metrics without sacrificing attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a collaborative, high-energy environment
- Excellent headline-writing and copy-editing skills
- Knowledge of Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a plus
