  • Use precision hand tools, torque tools, and applicable test equipment to repair, troubleshoot, assemble, and test components to applicable specifications.
  • Complete work orders and required documentation accurately while maintaining component identification, organization, and accountability throughout the repair process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with applicable quality, safety, FAA, and Repair Station requirements.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, kaizen and 5S initiatives.  Actively contribute ideas for continuous improvement, waste reduction, workplace organization, and process efficiency

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A&P certification is welcomed but not required

Experience:

  • 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in precision assembly, electromechanical assembly, component repair, overhaul, inspection, testing, or similar technical work.
  • Experience using hand tools and precision tools to assemble, disassemble, inspect, adjust, or repair components.
  • Aircraft industry experience preferred but not required.  Relevant experience may also come from industries requiring similar levels of precision and workmanship.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Willing to perform repetitive precision assembly, inspection, and repair tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform precision work accurately and consistently.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new products, systems, repair processes, tools, and technical skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality workmanship and follow established safety, quality, and Repair Station procedures.
