WSU Tech is seeking an innovative Internet of Things (IoT) Coordinator to support Smart Factory operations and connected technology initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating, configuring, and maintaining Industrial IoT systems, industrial networks, and connected devices that support hands-on learning and workforce training environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Connected Operations Technology solutions for academic and workforce training environments.
Maintain and manage industrial networks while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, policies, and best practices.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate Smart Factory technology operations and support the integration of emerging manufacturing technologies.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and industry partners to support projects, initiatives, and technology-based learning experiences.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Information Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
