Sobre esta oportunidad:
En WSP México, estamos buscando un Ingeniero Mecánico especializado en instalaciones HVAC para unirse a nuestro equipo de Property & Building en nuestras oficinas en Ciudad de México o Puebla.
El candidato ideal será responsable de colaborar en el diseño y desarrollo de sistemas mecánicos (principalmente HVAC) para proyectos en Estados Unidos, asegurando el cumplimiento de estándares de calidad, códigos locales y objetivos del cliente, trabajando en coordinación con equipos multidisciplinarios en México y EE. UU.
Responsabilidades:
Colaboración técnica:
• Apoyar a ingenieros Mid-Level y Senior en el desarrollo de proyectos desde la fase conceptual hasta etapas avanzadas.
• Participar en reuniones de coordinación con equipos en México y EE. UU.
Diseño y documentación:
• Elaborar planos de instalaciones mecánicas utilizando AutoCAD y Revit MEP.
• Preparar cálculos de cargas térmicas, ventilación y caída de presión en ductos y tuberías.
• Generar bases de diseño y especificaciones cortas.
Desarrollo de sistemas HVAC:
• Diseñar sistemas de aire acondicionado, calefacción, ventilación y control de humedad.
• Dimensionar ductería y tuberías para sistemas de agua helada, condensación, agua caliente y drenaje.
• Seleccionar y especificar equipos (bombas, chillers, calderas, ventiladores, unidades terminales, difusores, rejillas).
Cumplimiento normativo:
• Aplicar estándares y códigos americanos (ASHRAE, SMACNA, AHRI, ICC).
• Contribuir en documentación para certificaciones LEED (deseable).
Gestión y calidad:
• Cumplir con los estándares de calidad de WSP y los objetivos del cliente.
• Reportar avances y desarrollo de actividades del proyecto.
Requisitos:
Formación:
• Licenciatura en Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería Química, Ingeniería en Energía o afines.
• Deseable especialidad en sistemas de aire acondicionado y refrigeración.
Experiencia:
• 1 a 3 años en consultoría de ingeniería o áreas relacionadas con sistemas HVAC.
• Conocimiento de códigos y estándares de la industria.
• Experiencia en software de diseño (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) y cálculo (TRACE, HAP o similar).
• Deseable experiencia en proyectos con certificación LEED.
Conocimientos técnicos:
• Manejo de normas americanas (ASHRAE, SMACNA, AHRI, ICC).
• Selección de equipos y manejo de software de cálculo y selección.
• Paquetería Office.
