The Lead Media Educator will facilitate high school filmmaking classes, lead curriculum development, and manage equipment for student projects. They are also responsible for mentoring youth, coordinating with teaching assistants, and documenting program success metrics.
Candidates must have 1-3 years of advanced experience in filmmaking and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud. Previous experience teaching high school-aged youth and working with diverse or low-income communities is required.

Wide Angle programs inspire creativity and instill confidence in young people, empowering them with skills to navigate school, career, and life.
Position Summary: This position is a part-time 2026-2027 academic-year position, September 2026-June 2027, for Wide Angle Programs. This part-time hourly position offers a starting wage between $20.76 to $22.50 per hour, depending on education, media/work samples, and years of professional experience. Wide Angle Youth Media is currently hiring an outgoing, dynamic, and team-oriented part-time Filmmaking Educator to facilitate the following program:
