The Roadway Engineer is responsible for the planning and design of transportation projects, including horizontal and vertical alignments and construction plans. Key tasks include developing technical reports, cost estimates, and designing intersections, interchanges, and multi-modal facilities.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 5-10 years of roadway engineering experience. Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina is preferred.
We are currently seeking an experienced Roadway Engineer to join our team in our Raleigh, NC office.
The Roadway Engineer will work with a team of engineers on the planning and design of transportation projects in ND. This position will be responsible for the design of horizontal and vertical alignments, development of roadway plans and profiles, roadside evaluation elements, maintenance of traffic design, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates and the development of technical reports.
