Responsible for the design and improvement of new and existing cementation products using fundamental engineering tasks and stress analysis. Coordinates technical developments, budgeting, and prototype manufacturing while ensuring products meet technical specifications.
Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of mechanical design experience in downhole oilfield tools. Essential expertise includes project management and stress analysis of pressure vessels.
As Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for the design of new products and makes improvements to existing products. Learning to evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. You will have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular discipline.
Responsibilities:
Required:
8+ years of experience as a professional engineer
10+ years of mechanical design in downhole oilfield tools with exposure to Cementation products (pouring, float shoes, baffle collars centralisers etc)
Project Management experience is essential
Experience with stress analysis of thick and thin-walled pressure vessels.
Preferred:
Creo/Pro-E, FEA/CFD design and detail
Working knowledge of API 19G1, 19G2, 19G3 as well other API specifications
Design of welded and heat treated assemblies
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
