The Assistant Surveyor supports licensed surveyors and party chiefs in performing field activities such as topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys. The role involves traveling to various project sites to collect accurate field data and measurements to ensure infrastructure is built safely and correctly.
Candidates should have a valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. While previous field or construction experience is preferred, the role primarily requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in diverse outdoor weather conditions.

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Assistant Surveyor who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a collaborative field team. This position supports licensed surveyors and survey party chiefs by assisting with a variety of field surveying activities, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, land title surveys, and construction staking.
Surveying is a critical component of construction and civil engineering projects. Through accurate field data collection and precise measurements, our survey teams help ensure projects are built correctly, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards. The work performed by our technicians plays a key role in supporting infrastructure that contributes to safe, efficient, and sustainable communities.
In this role, you will travel to project sites at various stages of construction and work outdoors in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. This position is ideal for someone with foundational field experience who is looking to continue developing their technical skills within a professional surveying environment.
