To support general accounting administration for assigned entities.
Supports decision making in forecasting and weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting by providing timely and concise analysis.
Assists with month-end closing activities.
Assists with financial audits and tax compliance.
Handles GL for multiple entities.
Executes payment on a timely manner and accurately in compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.
Coordinate with all entities and functions to ensure timely and accurate closing on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Prepares journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Monitors bank administration activities and support corporate treasury services.
Prepares Cashflow forecast for multiple entities
Prepares bank reconciliations.
Responsible for inter-company and related company’s transactions and balances and resolve reconciling items.
Prepares monthly balance sheet schedules.
Prepares monthly/quarterly GST/VAT/WHT reporting, reconciliation report and corporate tax computation on a timely basis.
Prepares Annual Statutory Financial Statements for the assigned portfolio of entities
Supply data and liaise with external auditors as necessary. Escalate issues and risks on a timely basis.
Involves in transitioning the regional GL activities to SSC in Malaysia and new Oracle, ERP implementation.
Assists in streamlining and improving the R2R process.
Supports decision making in forecasting and weekly / monthly/ quarterly reporting by providing timely and concise analysis.
Assists in statistical submissions.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related majors or professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA).
• Proficiency in Excel, Oracle and ERP software.
• Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team.
• Able to effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
• Must be willing to work at Regus, Gurney, Penang Island, Malaysia.
