ABOUT THE ROLE
Vero is looking for a PR Account Executive to join our team and support the growth of our public relations and integrated communications business in Vietnam. This is a hands-on role supporting client account management, media relations, and content coordination, with exposure to influencer marketing, social media, and digital campaigns. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in PR, media, and the creator economy to support strong outcomes for both Vero and its clients.
Key responsibilities
You will contribute to building Vero's business in Vietnam and across the ASEAN region. This includes supporting client accounts, providing counsel to clients, and assisting in new business development to ensure client and stakeholder satisfaction with Vero’s services. You are also responsible for business development activities, assisting account managers and directors in pitching and supporting client projects across public relations, influencer engagement, social media, and digital marketing. The role involves developing creative solutions to client challenges and adopting emerging marketing technologies to benefit both the agency and client businesses. Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other teams if needed to generate positive business results for the agency. You would be reporting to your team leaders, regarding:
Client Service
Assist the client service lead in managing accounts, acting as a key point of contact for client communication and support.
Liaise with clients daily, ensuring responsiveness in meetings and group chats, and staying updated on account activities.
Support the team in delivering exceptional service by addressing client needs promptly and providing relevant insights and recommendations for account improvements.
Identify opportunities for growth within client relationships and work with the team to enhance account performance.
Prepare timely, accurate, and insightful reports to keep clients informed and confident in the agency’s capabilities.
Maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence in the agency's abilities by proactively
Account Management
Manage key aspects of client projects, including influencer relations, event management, media relations, and content preparation, while ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration with the account team.
Work closely with your team to meet client KPIs, support other departments as needed, and deliver strong business results for the agency.
Plan, organize, and coordinate client campaigns by leveraging appropriate strategies and tactics, tracking campaign progress, analyzing performance, and providing insightful updates to clients.
Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines, align with client expectations, and maintain high-quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, media contacts, and suppliers to enhance client outcomes and foster collaboration.
PR Content Writing
Develop and write high-quality PR content, including press releases, articles, case studies, and other materials that enhance the brand's image.
Collaborate with clients and account teams to understand messaging objectives and translate them into impactful written content.
Ensure all content is on-brand, SEO-optimized, and aligns with the clients’ communication strategies and marketing plans.
Stay up-to-date with media trends, ensuring that all written materials align with the current best practices in PR content.
Edit, proofread, and revise content as necessary, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and tone consistency across all communication channels.
ABOUT YOU
1–2 years of experience in account management or coordination within a PR, IMC, digital, or communications agency (internship experience considered).
Basic understanding of media relations and press material development; exposure to influencer/social media coordination is a plus.
Good understanding of the Vietnamese media and social landscape.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Good client-facing and communication skills; comfortable coordinating across teams.
Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
