The Staff Scientist II will support environmental and stormwater compliance projects by conducting inspections, developing SWPPPs, and performing site monitoring. They will also provide on-site training to construction crews and assist clients with regulatory compliance and reporting.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering and possess at least 2 years of experience in stormwater compliance. A QSP/QSD certification is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to travel to project sites.

Verdantas is seeking a Scientist II to support our Environmental and Stormwater team across the Bay Area. This position is local to project sites and offers a hybrid work environment, combining field-based work with remote flexibility.
We are looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist/Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) to join our growing team. This is a mid-level stormwater professional role and is a great fit for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute within a collaborative environment while making a positive impact on the environment.
