Overview
Primary responsibility is to provide technical support for technology delivery projects and proposals related to effluent treatment and vitrification technologies. Technical support will be comprised of:
Development and review of technical documents, such as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, and feasibility studies.
Provide input to project managers and technical leads during the development of cost estimates and execution schedules. This includes routine updates during lifecycle of a project.
Attend project meetings with peers, project management, senior management, and customers. Responsibilities in the meetings include providing status on assigned tasks and engaging in technical discussions.
In addition to the responsibilities above, and when available, the Process Engineer may support Technology Operations in the field and will be responsible for the following:
Being onsite during operations (requires shift work)
Providing technical direction to operators during course of operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Seek assistance from senior Veolia technical staff as needed
Update technical documents and drawings as part of maintaining technical baseline
The Process Engineer is required to possess proficiency in computer applications, specifically spreadsheets. They must also have an ability to effectively communicate with various technical and managerial professionals, and they must have flexible personalities particularly suited for working in a constantly changing work environment.
The Process Engineer must be comfortable with managing multiple tasks and taking direction from 2 or more project managers.

Review and/or check documents
Interface with other engineering disciplines on integrated deliverables, such as P&ID
Provide input to cost estimates and execution schedules
Attend project meetings
Interacts with clients, customers, officials and contractors
Deliver scope on time, on budget and in accordance with expectations, including delivery in a safe and secure manner
Compliance with policies and procedures during course of executing job tasks
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
EIT preferred
Experience & Requirements:
Desired 5+ years of experience in related engineering field
Experience with system or component operations and maintenance is preferred but not required
Proficiency with 2D drafting is preferred
Proficiency with MathCAD
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Must have excellent written and oral communications skills as well as excellent computer skills that are relevant to job applications.
