JOB SUMMARY

The Country Finance Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, planning and analysis. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statement and reports. The position is responsible to liaison with all the departments and preparation of the budget and allocating the budget for effective use of resources. Responsible for compliance of local applicable regulations and liaise with all the regulatory departments, tax authorities and banks.

Job Responsibilities: 

Financial Management

• Develop controls over regular review to ensure all the numbers reflected in the ledgers are accurately recorded.
• Ensure timely recording of all the expenses, timely payments of all the local and international payments, and controls over revenue recognition are in place
• Taking care of cash / Bank management to ensure that the liquidity is always maintained for payment.
• Performing monthly closing on a timely manner and making data available to the management for timely decision making.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Supervise the audit and completion of audit within time.

Budgeting and Analysis

• Budget management: Budget preparation and allocation
• Ensuring systems for preparation and monitoring of month wise / territory wise and product wise sales vs. Budget and last year.
• Monthly EBITDA tracking vs. budget and last year to help analyzing the performance to date and deciding on future course of action.
• Preparation of the forecast for the future months for the management to assess the year closing target and take appropriate measures.
• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction. Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company. Identifying CAPEX replacement needs and incorporating the same in Budget

Treasury Management

• Preparation of the monthly cash flow forecast and whistle blowing at critical cash flow levels for the timely measures to be taken.
• Timely renewal of the banking facilities to ensure smooth LC’s opening for products imports. Liaison with banks for the remittance of miscellaneous fees (Management fees, regional cost, etc.). Monitoring of NWC and highlighting on Account receivable early recovery to ensure healthy cash liquidity.

Compliance & Law

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and policies
• Ensure tax regulation compliance with reference to monthly, quarterly and annual return filing.
• Ensuring Sales tax / income tax deduction from payments and timely submission of the tax withheld.

General Management

• Support Executives with special projects and workflow process improvements.
• Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
• Participate in target costing activities to create products that meeting predetermined price goals.
• Identify risk gaps, comment and provide guidance implementation of the risk management strategy.
