As software development becomes increasingly agent-assisted, the DevOps role is evolving with it. A core part of this mission is to build the deterministic guardrails, feedback loops, and workflows that let teams use agents productively while preserving reliability, security, and maintainability.
You will also get to apply these practices in a full-stack robotics context, where software, simulation, hardware design, and real-world robot testing all interact. The goal is not to become a hardware expert, but to bring DevOps-style automation, validation, traceability, and feedback loops into one of the most exciting engineering environments possible.
Own and continuously improve our development tooling stack and software delivery workflows, with a strong focus on reliability, speed, security, and maintainability
Design, maintain, and improve a production-grade CI/CD and release stack that gives engineers fast, reliable feedback and supports safe iteration from development to production-like environments
Improve our containerization, deployment, and infrastructure-as-code workflows for DevOps and AgentOps-related systems, ensuring the tooling you own is reproducible, reviewable, and easy to evolve
Operate and extend our observability and DevSecOps practices across engineering, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, CI/CD hardening, secrets management, least-privilege access, and dependency/supply-chain security
Build deterministic guardrails and automated checks around code quality, review workflows, and agent-assisted software development
Improve feedback loops around agent-assisted development, including attribution, token/cost metrics, workflow analytics, and PR review signal
Partner with software, robotics, and hardware teams to bring DevOps-style automation, validation, and traceability to the broader robotics iteration loop
Automate internal engineering workflows using Python, APIs, GitHub Actions, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, and pragmatic tooling
Help define and document engineering standards, development workflows, operational practices, and agent-assisted engineering patterns as the team grows
8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, developer tooling, or similar roles, with real exposure to production-grade engineering workflows
Strong hands-on experience with Linux / Unix environments, CI/CD, containers, automation, Git, GitHub, and code review workflows
Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, especially for developer tooling, CI/CD, observability, or internal services
Strong Python or scripting ability, with the taste to build tools that are reliable, maintainable, and pleasant for engineers to use
Strong experience improving developer productivity, DevEx, internal tools, or engineering enablement in a fast-growing team
Good understanding of observability and production-readiness practices (e.g. OTel): metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, debugging workflows, releases, and rollback strategies
Strong security awareness, especially around CI/CD, secrets, permissions, supply chain risk, infrastructure access, and agent/tool execution boundaries
A genuine love for clean, reliable, well-tested, and well-maintainable code
Real hands-on experience with coding agents and agent-assisted software development harnesses such as Cursor, Git AI, prompt/rule/skill systems, or similar tools
Ability to reason about systems end-to-end: developer experience, automation, reliability, cost, security, review burden, and long-term codebase health
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced startup environment, building systems from scratch and iterating as the company grows
Autonomous, rigorous, and execution-driven
Nerdy (in the best sense), technically curious, easy to work with, and broadly interested in AI, software engineering, automation, robotics, systems, and developer tools
Bonus : familiarity with robotics, simulation, hardware development workflows, CAD/PDM tooling, or research-to-production environments
Bonus : public projects, open-source contributions, maintained tools, technical writing, or any visible builder track record
We value exceptional builders over perfect resumes. If you have strong DevOps fundamentals, real experience with agent-assisted development, and the drive to build world-class engineering workflows, we strongly encourage you to apply
