The Data Analyst provides data support to leadership and faculty by validating, cleaning, and mining data for institutional research. They are also responsible for preparing reports and data visualizations to support decision-making across various departments.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least one year of relevant work experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience with data management tools like SQL or CampusVue are highly desired.

Reporting to the Director of Institutional Research, the Data Analyst, Level I provides data support to requests from leadership, faculty, staff, and external entities by validating and analyzing data, data mining, data submission to external sources, as well as by preparing reports to support decision-making.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report:
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
