Position Overview

The Home Solutions Advisor is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing referral partnerships, and converting opportunities into contracts, listings, and other real estate solutions.

This role combines community-based business development with in-person appointments. The ideal candidate can build relationships with referral sources, create opportunities through networking and outreach, and confidently guide homeowners through the evaluation, negotiation, and decision-making process.

Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, real estate knowledge, disciplined follow-up, negotiation ability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both referral partners and homeowners.

Duties include:

  • Build and maintain referral relationships with mortgage professionals, banks, assisted living communities, investors, attorneys, developers, and other local business partners
  • Conduct regular outreach through networking events, business visits, presentations, calls, emails, and community involvement to generate referral opportunities
  • Run in-person client appointments to evaluate homeowner needs and determine the best solution, including cash offers, listings, referrals, or alternative options
  • Build rapport with clients, uncover motivations, overcome objections, and negotiate agreements that create value for both the homeowner and TN HomeBuyers
  • Generate, present, and negotiate offers while collaborating with internal teams to structure solutions and maximize profitability
  • Evaluate property values, repair requirements, and market conditions to support acquisition and listing recommendations
  • Manage client and partner pipelines within the CRM, ensuring all communication, appointments, and next steps are documented accurately
  • Act as a brand ambassador for TN HomeBuyers by becoming a trusted resource within the local real estate community

Ideal Candidate Experience and Skill-Sets

  • An active Tennessee Real Estate License is preferred 
  • Experience running listing appointments, or real estate consultations
  • Knowledge of residential real estate, investment properties, acquisitions, listings, or related industries preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate business through networking, referrals, or community involvement
  • Ability to evaluate property condition, repair needs, and market value
  • Comfortable managing multiple opportunities, relationships, and follow-up activities simultaneously
  • Organized and disciplined with CRM usage and pipeline management
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
