Manage the end-to-end development of new parts, from engineering documentation and vendor coordination to final customer approval. Ensure smooth transfer of developed parts to the manufacturing team while maintaining QMS and safety standards.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in process planning and documentation with proficiency in 3D modeling software like SolidWorks or UG. Knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and ISO standards is highly advantageous.
Customer relationship management ( Technical )
· New Part Development
· Project management for New part development meeting the customer requirement.
· Preparation and release of Engineering Documents for New parts
· Deciding equipment for inspecting the parts
· Co ordinate with vendor management team for outsource machining
· Co ordinate with vendor management team for surface Treatment and Heat treatment
· Conducting sub-assemblies and assemblies
· Establishing functional test on the parts
· Designing packaging for part shipment
· Co ordinate for conducting First Article inspection and getting approved from Customer
· Conducting PPAP and getting approved from Customer
· Co ordinate for new process establishment and qualification to customer at supplier end as well as in house.
· Problem Solving during part development
· Transfer of parts developed to Manufacturing team and ensure the smooth processing
· QMS, safety & 5S compliance.
