Advance the operation and commercialization of large-scale electric battery storage systems by building cloud services and distributed controllers. Enhance the reliability, scalability, and automation of AWS cloud infrastructure while maintaining high security and quality standards.
Requires strong proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a preference for expertise in Rust, AWS, and energy market domain knowledge.
Shaping an emission-free energy and mobility future - that is the goal of The Mobility House. To achieve this, we combine the automotive and energy sectors with our technology. We integrate vehicle batteries into the power grid using intelligent charging and energy solutions. The whole thing started 15 years ago with a simple idea from our founder Thomas Raffeiner: What if idle electric cars could be used as mobile storage units? And make their potential available to the energy industry with its growing storage requirements? The idea for The Mobility House was born.

The business unit The Mobility House Energy integrates EV and stationary batteries into the energy system – increasing flexibility, maximizing value, and reducing CO₂ emissions. With its proprietary technologies FlexibilityAggregator and FlexibilityTrader, the company controls, optimizes, and trades storage assets across multiple markets. In 2024, The Mobility House Energy, together with Mobilize (Renault Group) and Renault, launched the world’s first commercial Vehicle-to-Grid product in France. 2026 the company will launch V1G & V2G services with Mercedes-Benz, other OEMs will follow.
