Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the VP, Technology to envision, create and review data architectural design as needed.
- Serves as the primary liaison to business stakeholders, including executive leadership, to translate business requirements into repeatable analytical models and solutions ensuring reusable datasets rather than one-off reports.
- Personally delivers code to enable process automation and predictive analytics.
- Assists in ensuring high data quality is available for business users to access and derive insights.
- Troubleshoots and maintains code ongoing.
- Establishes and follows automated testing best practices established within the software development team.
- Performs code reviews of team submissions as needed.
Qualifications
- Business-driven software engineer with 5+ years of software development experience and experience with data architecture design, structure, and models.
- In-depth C#, SQL, and Python experience, including application architecture and ownership.
- Experience utilizing AI to accelerate development, validation of AI-generated solutions, and understanding of how data must be structured for AI consumption. Experience with agentic workflows is highly preferred.
- Experience building solutions targeting Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working in a fast-paced development environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- This position will be based in Dallas, TX, with some remote work possible.
- Travel estimated to be little to none.
