Provides direct quality care to pediatric patients by triaging calls, assisting medical staff during examinations, and performing nursing interventions. Responsible for administering medications, maintaining patient records, and managing clinical inventory.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Must hold a current North Carolina LPN license, CPR, Venipuncture, and IV certifications, with 2-3 years of primary care experience.
Under general supervision, provides assistance to the physicians and the nursing staff of TAPM in order to provide direct, quality patient care and treatment of pediatric patients.
Job duties require a high school education with additional professional training in a nationally recognized/accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Must have a working knowledge of data processing equipment, computers, telephones, and such typical office machines and equipment. Must maintain effective written and oral communication/English skills. Must maintain current North Carolina LPN License, CPR certification, Venipuncture certification, IV Certification, and a NC driver’s license for occasional outside travel.
With the above skills, education, and will need a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in the primary care setting.
