- Conceive and develop original creative concepts for social content, including narrative angles, visual treatments, and storytelling approaches that establish the Buccaneers’ distinctive voice on each platform.

|
Social Media Strategy & Publishing
|
- Develop and execute content strategies across social channels and ancillary accounts (e.g., Team Store, Flag Football) that advance the Buccaneers’ brand mission as the cultural flag-bearers for Tampa Bay.
|
- Lead ideation and copywriting across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and TikTok, writing on-brand captions, overlays, and CTAs in the Buccaneers voice while planning and publishing engagement-driven content optimized for each platform.
|
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital, Marketing, Creative, Partnership, and Community teams on tentpole campaigns, events, and growth initiatives – integrating partner deliverables and fan development programming without compromising brand voice.

- Execute gameday and real-time content, including live social coverage, in-game moments, and rapid-response publishing.
|
- Monitor performance analytics to evolve content approach and share actionable insights with internal stakeholders.

Social Video Production & Editing
|
- Conceive, shoot, edit, and produce short-form vertical video content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, Spotlight) from concept through final publish, making creative decisions about narrative angle, visual composition, pacing, music, and storytelling approach. Includes on-location capture at practices, games, events, and community activations.

- Use platform-native and social-first editing tools (CapCut, Slate, native platform editors) for rapid-turnaround edits, applying techniques like beat-synced transitions, speed ramps, text overlays, auto-captioning, and sound design optimized for each platform's algorithm and retention mechanics.
|
- Operate camera equipment (smartphone) to capture video content in challenging, unscripted environments, stadium sidelines, locker rooms, outdoor events, and community activations, including managing audio capture and lighting in loud, mixed, and uncontrolled settings.
|
- Stay current on emerging social editing techniques, platform feature releases, trending formats, and creator tool innovations; reinterpret trends into original Buccaneers-branded creative within hours of emergence.
