The driver is responsible for safely transporting oversized equipment and heavy loads across multiple states while maintaining accurate transportation records. They must also perform equipment inspections, plan efficient routes, and conduct basic maintenance on the vehicle.
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial driver's license and at least three years of verifiable heavy haul experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to operate class eight tractors with eighteen-speed manual transmissions.
Description
The Local/Regional Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting oversized equipment, heavy loads, and other materials to customer and project locations throughout the region. This position may complete multiple loads each day and requires regular travel across Wyoming and surrounding states. The driver plans routes, inspects and secures equipment and loads, maintains accurate transportation records, communicates with operations and site personnel, and performs basic equipment maintenance as needed. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, regulatory compliance, and timely customer service.
Requirements
This position is on site, often in remote or rural areas. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments.
