Working closely with the IT Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and business teams, you will help deliver a high-quality technology experience across the organization.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will support a broad range of technologies, contribute to process improvements, and play an important role in enabling Svante’s continued growth and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • You possess solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services, and enterprise IT environments.
  • You have experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues across a variety of platforms.
  • You have working knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, access points, and LAN/WAN environments.
  • You have experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365 user administration, including account and mailbox management.
  • You have experience with laptop imaging, provisioning, deployment, and IT asset lifecycle management.
  • You have experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms and ticketing systems, with experience using Atlassian products considered an asset.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • You are comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with CompTIA A+, MSCA, AZ-104, or equivalent certifications is considered an asset.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • You will provide timely and effective IT support to employees and consultants by responding to technical requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to established Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • You will manage IT service requests and incidents through the appropriate support channels while ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • You will support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, equipment preparation, and access management.
  • You will deploy, maintain, and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops, including imaging, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • You will manage IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management of technology equipment.
  • You will troubleshoot and support meeting room technologies, user access issues, and workplace technology solutions.
  • You will administer and maintain core IT systems, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user accounts, mailboxes, and related services.
  • You will support network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, firewalls, switches, and access points, in partnership with the Infrastructure team.
  • You will assist with corporate backup systems, disaster recovery solutions, and security best practices to ensure reliable and secure technology operations.
  • You will create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures to improve service delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • You will actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including technology enablement projects, manufacturing process support, and automation initiatives.
