ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
1. Supervise direct and indirect reports in the leadership team and all hourly teammates within the departments these positions oversee
2. Provide teammates the tools needed to perform and operate efficiently and effectively
Assign/delegate tasks to teammates
Identify training needs and opportunities for initial and continuous improvement
Guide and develop teammates to enable them to be promoted to new levels throughout the company
Communicate goals, expectations, and standards for the facility
Perform annual reviews
Initiate disciplinary action when necessary
3. Monitor and identify areas of improvement for safety, operating statistics, inventory, etc. throughout the facility
4. Develop budget and control expenditures of the facility
5. Interact with teammates, customers, sales organization, and leadership
6. Ensure corporate, government, and environmental policies/regulations are adhered to and consistently applied
7. Analyze all aspects of the facility’s operations and maintenance/upkeep in order to streamline costs without compromising quality and customer service. This includes dealing with customer rejections, quality control, customer expectations, effective staffing, capacity planning, and machine capabilities
8. Meet with the General Manager to relay information/reporting regarding the daily operations of the facilities
9. Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Understands financial terms and is able to interpret an income statement/P&L
Computer skills: proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and Word, knowledgeable of the AS400

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Prefer an undergraduate degree in a related field and six to eight years of managing in a production environment. Formal education may be substituted with experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This work is performed in a both an office setting with minimal to moderate noise due to computers, printers, and people, along with a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, heat, etc., requiring the full use of personal protective equipment.
