Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to provide high-quality mental health counseling therapy services to individuals and occasional family therapy. The therapist will assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and offer therapeutic interventions to support emotional, psychological, and behavioral well-being of patients across the lifespan. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to ethical care, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine patient needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Provide psychotherapy (individual and family) using appropriate therapeutic modalities.
Assist patients in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment goals, and document case notes accurately.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, and other professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Provide referrals and community resource connections for patients requiring additional support.
Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, HIPAA regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Active LCSW or LCMHC license in North Carolina.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in mental health, behavioral health, or a related field.
Experience in individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention.
Strong knowledge of DSM-5, trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic approaches.
Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
