The Bookkeeper manages day-to-day accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll support. They are also responsible for month-end closing, financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience and expert knowledge of general accounting principles. A high school diploma or Associate's degree in accounting or business administration is preferred.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the SVC team as a Bookkeeper. Sims Venture Capital (SVC) operates as a holding company to service multiple companies, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing accounting responsibilities for Mountain Empire Agency Alliance and assisting with overflow from additional companies as needed.
The Bookkeeper oversees day-to-day accounting operations, manages the accounting operations for their assigned companies, and ensures timely and accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and supporting strategic financial decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate can easily organize books from multiple companies, is a team player, and is a fast learner.
