Senversa is a wholly Australian, employee‑owned consulting firm bringing together a diverse range of experienced professionals delivering exceptional environmental, sustainability and engineering services across Australia.
We’re recognised for delivering high quality, commercial and technically astute solutions to our clients, and we’re proud of our culture, technical excellence and long‑term, employee‑owned model.
Senversa has transitioned recently to a larger private company with over 200 staff and revenues exceeding $50M. As we continue our journey towards $100 million‑plus revenue, we are seeking a part‑time Chief Financial Officer to partner with the Management Team and Board and help to shape disciplined, sustainable growth.
This is a future‑facing, advisory and coaching CFO role. Day‑to‑day finance operations are led by an established, high‑performing finance team. The CFO will focus on capital allocation, investment and transaction decisions, and leadership that supports both commercial rigour and culture.
We are open to candidates located nationally across Australia, with preference to locations where we have established offices.
Our commitment to you
We offer a professional services environment built around sustainability, corporate social responsibility, workplace diversity, flexible working arrangements and equal opportunity. We are a company that lives and breathes our company values - including that of quality, teaming and partnering; values that are truly committed to enhancing the careers of our people.
In addition to an inclusive, fast-paced working environment, you will be part of leading a team that prides itself on ensuring Senversa maintains financial performance, operational excellence and true staff development. Our senior staff are committed to coaching and mentoring staff in a dynamic, positive, respectful and constructive professional environment.
We are a team that is looking to the future and are excited to embrace technical, technological and operational innovation. We strive to be digital by default and ‘fast followers’, helping to ensure we have the resources to provide our clients efficient and innovative solutions.
So, what will you do?
You will set strategic finance direction and guardrails, elevate decision‑ready insights for management and Board, and lead evaluation of investment opportunities, diversification, partnerships and M&A, including valuations, modelling, due diligence and recommendations. You’ll also support our finance leadership capability, strengthen commercial discipline, and provide informed guidance on structuring, compliance and financial risk governance.
What you’ll bring
Senior finance leadership experience in Australian employee‑owned or professional services organisations, strong commercial judgement, and deep experience in M&A / partnerships and financial due diligence. CA/CPA (or equivalent) required.
