The Buyer is responsible for maintaining supply inventory levels and negotiating agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness. Key duties include qualifying suppliers, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with quality and accounting departments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including 4 years in a purchasing role. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels are required.

This position will be responsible for maintaining supply inventory levels required for effective company operations. This position will be accountable for negotiating agreements with potential vendors as well as being charged with conducting regular price comparisons to ensure that STEICO is being provided with the best price for each product purchased.
Requires high school diploma, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 4 years experience in a purchasing role in that environment
Requires working knowledge of computer, scanner, facsimile machine, copier and any other standard office equipment
Basic math skills and the ability to utilize a calculator
Intermediate working knowledge in the MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Requires ability to assess facts and develop conclusions
