We offer property & casualty, employee benefits, captive insurance and surety bonds solutions, as well as personal risk services. An employee-owned company, we are one of the largest independent agencies in the Southeast and have Captive Insurance operations in Grand Cayman and Vermont. This ownership creates a unique company culture and provides significant opportunities for our employee owners. We are driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and guided by out-of-the-box thinking to deliver world-class service to our clients, primarily mid-market companies.

We’re currently looking for a Compliance Consultant to join our Affordable Housing team. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment that rewards excellence and encourages entrepreneurial thinking, we would like to hear from you!

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

As an Affordable Housing Compliance Consultant, you will serve as a key liaison between our clients and their insurance partners. You will help clients define and refine their insurance requirements, evaluate the coverage provided by their partners, and ensure compliance with those requirements.

You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights and recommendations that support client objectives.

This will be an on-site position with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week + 2 days remote) once training is complete.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Collaborate with clients to develop tailored insurance requirement frameworks.

•    Review and analyze insurance documentation provided by partner organizations.

•    Identify gaps, inconsistencies and compliance issues in coverage and recommend solutions.

•    Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all client engagements.

•    Support clients with audits, renewals and ongoing policy updates.

•    Stay current on industry regulations, trends and best practices to inform recommendations.

•    Perform other duties as assigned.

•    Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and regulatory requirements.

•    Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.

•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

•    Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot) in a professional environment preferred.

•    Experience working with data analysis tools and reporting platforms preferred.

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).

•    Active Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
