The Student Welcome Ambassador will represent the College of Medicine and Health during Welcome Week by providing peer-to-peer support and sharing personal experiences. They will also assist in organizing and delivering welcome activities while collaborating with university departments and staff.
Applicants must be current University of Birmingham students with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should be friendly, reliable, and committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Background
The Student Experience Team oversees the planning and implementation of Welcome Week for CMH. We aim to work with and collaborate with students and staff to provide the best support we can for our new starters and one of the main pieces of feedback is more engagement with current students. Therefore, we would like to bring student ambassadors on board to provide their own experiences in this role.
