Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to interact professionally with all ages. Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts is required along with basic computer proficiency.

Planetarium Program Presenter will assist the education department in carrying out essential programming in the planetarium that fits the mission of the museum to inspire curiosity and understanding of the world!

Founded by Randolph “Bud” Schiele in 1961, The Schiele Museum of Natural History is committed to providing visitors with experiences that inspire curiosity about science and the natural world. The Schiele’s exceptional museum exhibits include dinosaur fossils, wildlife displays, gems and minerals, and American Indian artifacts. In addition, the museum has a state-of-the-art planetarium, a Nature Trail, a replica Catawba Indian Village, and “The Farm”, a showcase of local agriculture and live animals. The museum is proud to offer learning opportunities for all ages through children’s camps, after-school programs, and public events.
