The Environmental Aide is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and servicing hospital units, patient rooms, and specialty areas. This includes operating electrical and battery-powered equipment to maintain facility hygiene.
Candidates must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English and be available for weekends and holidays. A high school diploma and one year of housekeeping experience are preferred.
Follows established procedures, cleans, disinfects, and services hospital units, patient rooms, critical care, specialty areas, and offices of the hospital and its subsidiaries. As needed, operates electrical and battery-powered equipment.
- Require availability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts.
- Require basic ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Prefer successful L2 Background screening.
- Prefer one (1) year of experience in housekeeping, linen or environmental services.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
FDL: Valid Driver's License
