This highly motivated team needs to be strengthened by a Senior Automation Engineer for our Automation Engineering Team based in our offices in Piraeus.
Your role in more detail:
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will
Choose the right automation and low voltage equipment
Deliver the appropriate information and guidelines to the Electrical Design Department
Program self-sufficiently PLCs, HMI devices and SCADA applications based on standard software modules and guidelines of our company
Select, parameterize, and commission inverters and other drive types
Write an operations manual based on company guidelines and templates
Execute FAT & SAT protocols and provide training to customer's personnel. Lead on-site commissioning activities
Your Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering - Master's degree will be considered an asset
Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position in an industrial environment
Excellent knowledge of the Siemens TIA Portal environment and extensive experience in using it for the realization of projects
Experience with the Siemens Classic Simatic Manager
Experience with Allen Bradley automation equipment
Electrical Design knowledge with EPLAN
Knowledge of programming in VBScript, C and SQL
Knowledge of other languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python etc. is considered an additional qualification
Knowledge of electric motion control with servomotors and DC motors
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (mainly excel)
Excellent knowledge of English language, spoken and written
Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective business relationships
