The ideal candidate for this position will report directly to the Maintenance Lead and work closely with department leaders to build maintenance strategies across the US, Middle East & Asia for successful robots functioning and operating. The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to the CEO, employees, and managers.

We are actively seeking a dynamic Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic), coupled with strong managerial skills. Location: Colombia - Remote / Availability to travel periodically to the US.

As a Maintenance Engineer Specialist (Junior), a typical day might include the following:

● Provide remote technical assistance on mechanical and electronic issues.

● Supervise documentation of field repairs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

● Review & update maintenance reports.

● Manage inventory updates.

● Provide fleet status reports by campus in your area.

● Determine spare parts requirements.

● Determine tool requirements by campus.

This job might be the right one for you if:

● Availability to travel: Valid US VISA (B1/B2) or ESTA Application.

● Legally eligible to work in Colombia.

● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic, and Biomedical Engineering with Proficient English level (B2, C1) and Professional Card.

● 1 year of profesional experience.

● Proficient in accurately measuring voltage and current using a multimeter.

● Strong understanding and proficiency in the DC analysis of schematic circuits.

○ Knowledge of active and passive discrete components and their operation.

○ Proficiency in the operation of MOSFET transistors and diodes.

○ Experience in designing and implementing Buck and Boost converters.

○ Expertise in DC and brushless motor control techniques.

● Ability to correlate PCB layouts with schematic circuits.

● Understanding of digital signal multiplexer operation.

● Ability to read and comprehend electronic component datasheets.

○ Pinouts

○ Electrical Block diagrams

● Basic knowledge of the use of mechanical tools.

● Excellent communication skills: ability to convey ideas effectively, articulate plans clearly,

and provide a general understanding of the problem at hand.

● A proactive approach to problem-solving: act quickly in response to field issues and

prioritize tasks based on urgency.

● Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on it.

● Responsibility: timely delivery of reports and completion of tasks as assigned.

You might also have:

● Ability to analyze PWM signals.

● Proficiency in basic microcontroller programming.

● Electrical Characteristics.
