The staff accountant will work closely with clients to prepare annual audits for condominium corporations. Responsibilities include managing the audit process from initial planning through to the presentation of financial statements at Annual General Meetings.
Candidates should possess an accounting diploma or relevant bookkeeping experience. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are required, while proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a staff accountant to join our Condo team in Guelph! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys accounting while interacting with our clients on a regular basis.
About the Gig: What does the Condo Team do?
All condominium corporations in Ontario are required to have an audit completed. As part of the RLB Condo Team you will work closely with our clients to prepare their annual audits. This position will allow you to see the audit process from start to finish, from planning right up to the presentation of financial statements at our clients’ Annual General Meetings.
Team members who work on the Condo team are provided with the opportunity to become a specialist in their area while working in a rapidly growing accounting niche. Additionally, RLB is a member of the Canadian Condominium Institute, Grand River Chapter, which provides networking, education, and business development opportunities.
This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our Guelph office with the option of a hybrid work arrangement. Paid overtime will be required during busy season which allows the firm to take Fridays off in July and August!

Hours: Full-time permanent. Paid Overtime available.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $60,000
Compensation within the advertised range is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and professional designations. RLB LLP recognizes that candidates may not fit precisely within a predefined range; therefore, final compensation will reflect the full breadth of skills, experience, and expertise the individual brings to the role.
