The technician is responsible for the preparation, characterization, and physical/chemical testing of metal powders and alloys. This includes operating laboratory instruments, maintaining equipment, and recording analytical data in accordance with quality and safety standards.
An associate or bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific field is preferred. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds.
