The Rig Operator is responsible for operating rig controls and equipment while supervising crewmembers to ensure safe and productive operations. Key duties include performing equipment inspections, managing BOP installations, and maintaining a clean and safe work site.
Candidates should ideally have a high school diploma and 5 to 7 years of experience on a well servicing rig, including time as a relief operator. A valid driver's license or CDL and the ability to perform heavy manual labor are required.
