Job Overview
The Core Network Engineer supports our customer’s global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or/operation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for the MPLS WAN overall architecture.
Developing MPLS WAN services solutions.
Performs lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing.
Assists with the security accreditation process.
Develops and maintains relevant technical documentation.
Also responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing proactive network analysis solutions for the operations team on an as-needed basis.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Currently active TS/SCI security clearance issued by a U.S. Government Entity
U.S. Government Adjudicated Full-Scope or Counterintelligence polygraph
Minimum of 16 years of Network Design/Engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively work, and communicate, with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
