The technician is responsible for performing cytopreparatory functions and making operational decisions under general supervision. They must interact with and report to the Cytology Prep Team Leader or Supervisor to ensure accurate laboratory workflows.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and any applicable state licensure. While not required, one year of experience in anatomic pathology is preferred.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
