The Electrical Systems Designer will be responsible for designing control panels, programming PLCs, and providing technical support to sales and consulting teams. They will also assist the panel shop with wiring, testing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems design, industrial controls, or automation. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field is required, along with proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD.

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our engineering team as a Electrical Systems Designer. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your experience and to contribute to the growth and development of our team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems design, industrial controls, or automation, along with a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with electrical design software such as EPLAN Electrical and AutoCAD, and have experience with PLC systems, motor controls, drives, instrumentation, and industrial control panels. Knowledge of UL 508A and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)/NEC is preferred.
The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple projects, working independently or as part of a team, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Working Environment
This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience. While this role is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits or paid vacation, it provides the opportunity to work on meaningful projects within a collaborative and professional team environment.
