Powerex Corp., the energy marketing subsidiary of BC Hydro, currently has a 1-year position for a Junior to Intermediate Business Analyst to join our IT team, with a focus on project and application delivery. There is a strong possibility of extension based on performance and team fit.
We’re looking for a business analyst with one to four years of experience at the junior to intermediate level in business analysis or IT project delivery. You should be able to support IT projects end to end while independently gathering and documenting business requirements. You will also contribute to system testing and troubleshooting.
You’ll work on IT projects and support existing applications ranging from in-house custom-built solutions to vendor-based platforms. As part of a team of Business Analysts, you’ll assist with testing, documentation, business requirements, deployments, and operational reporting improvements. If you’re a creative problem solver, fast learner, and proactive self-starter, this is the role for you.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):
Education:
- A degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
