The Occupational Therapist will assess patient needs, develop personalized recovery plans, and deliver therapy to restore physical independence. They also train patients and caregivers on essential skills to promote productivity and well-being.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program and possess initial registration from the NBCOT. A valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice is also required.

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
