The technician is responsible for building, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to CAD drawings and specifications. Additionally, the role involves performing on-site installations and mentoring junior technicians.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience or education in electrical work and the ability to independently troubleshoot circuits. Proficiency with electrical hand tools and the ability to read complex schematics is required.
The Panel Shop Technician II – Manufacturing & Installation supports the build and wiring of electrical control panels for both internal and external customers at Pillar Innovations. This role is ideal for someone with a solid working knowledge of electrical control panels and wiring practices who is comfortable taking on more responsibility while continuing to grow their skills. In this position, you’ll assist with panel assembly, basic troubleshooting, and repairs, while helping ensure panels meet quality standards.
The role requires flexibility for extended hours as needed and occasional travel to customer sites, sometimes with overnight stays. If you’re ready to build on your experience and take the next step in a hands-on, team-focused environment, this is a great opportunity to do so.
