Our Summer Internship Programme offers you the opportunity to join a busy and vibrant Legal and Compliance team, undertaking exciting projects to support the team's success and to make a real impact on the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Our 12-week paid summer internship, provides an exciting opportunity to develop an understanding of the skills needed to succeed within a busy Compliance team in a commodities trading environment, through hands-on projects, tailored guidance and mentorship and constructive feedback. You will have the opportunity to gain experience of supporting on some key business data projects, as well as supporting the KYC team in their day-to-day work.
Our internships are best suited to those currently undertaking a 3rd level degree or masters, or those who have recently graduated from a relevant area of studies.
We welcome applications from those with a demonstrable interest in Compliance and Legal Affairs and with strong IT, data analytics, communication and organisation skills.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education Requirements
- Currently undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or recently graduated
- Discipline not restricted, however degrees such as Law, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Business Management and Data Analytics may be advantageous
Skills, Experience and Competencies
- Previous involvement in related internships and/or societies will be viewed positively
- Appreciation and interest for Legal Affairs and Compliance
- A proactive and inquisitive nature with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrable experience of using MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong data analytics ability and relevant experience
- Strong communicator and team player
- Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills
