We are now searching for a

Solution Architect

to join our Enterprise Architecture team in Patria Group IT Team. Your working location can be Tampere, Hämeenlinna, Helsinki, Espoo or Jämsä Halli. In this role, you will have approximately 50 % on-site work requirements, and there is an average of 30 travel days per year, primarily domestic travel.

The role will involve working on various projects related to unifying business processes and, consequently, IT architecture. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring, at a high level, that IT requirements (e.g., application-related, data, security, technology and service) are met in projects and considered for future services. You will work closely with business, and project manager. You will have the support of technical and information security and compliance experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance architectures that meet business requirements.

• Lead the design work and implementation of solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to project and IT service and application teams.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our solutions.

• Work closely with business and process developers to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

• Ensure that all solutions are aligned with the company's overall business strategy and goals.

What kind of person are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional who understands overall architecture and is eager to work closely with the business side. We are not necessarily seeking a niche expert in one technical area, but rather a generalist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in solution architecture and business development.

• Strong understanding of development / project methodologies and best practices.

• Understanding of multiregulated business environment.

• Excellent and independent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate complex (technical) concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent English skills, Fluent Finnish skills are a plus.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Practical experience with IT infrastructure and information security.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
