We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to join our Distribution team in Sparks, NV. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements
What you’ll do:
Load, unload, receive, and ship products safely and efficiently.
Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
Receive inbound shipments and accurately enter receipts into the warehouse management system.
Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries for cartons, pallets, and other warehouse materials.
Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
Load outbound trucks while ensuring shipments are accurate, secure, and damage-free.
Process and release customer orders within the warehouse management system following carrier pickup.
Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Interact professionally with truck drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal team members.
Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and standard operating procedures.
Assist with other warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.
Your Background:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Prior sit-down forklift experience is highly preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance speed and accuracy.
Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities.
