The Senior Director manages a portfolio of donors to secure major and planned gifts while leading the university's gift planning strategy and marketing efforts. They are responsible for cultivating relationships, meeting fundraising metrics, and collaborating with campus leadership to advance institutional priorities.
A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in fundraising or planned giving within a higher education environment is required. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills, along with the ability to travel and work flexible hours.

Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Development and Planned Giving manages a portfolio of alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to raise funds for the university in pursuit of the university’s strategic fundraising priorities. The Senior Director is also responsible for all phases of the university’s gift planning strategy, including marketing, donor cultivation, and closing planned gift agreements.
This position reports to the AVP for University Development and supervises assigned fundraisers.
