The Saw Shop Hand is responsible for cutting raw materials using industrial saws and managing the offloading, storage, and staging of materials for production. The role ensures material traceability and maintains a safe, organized work environment within an oilfield manufacturing setting.
A high school diploma and previous experience in manufacturing or material handling are preferred. Candidates should possess basic math skills and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Saw Shop Hand is responsible for safely cutting raw materials, offloading and storing incoming materials, and staging material for production operations. This position supports manufacturing operations by operating saw equipment, handling raw materials, and ensuring materials are properly stored, identified, and delivered to production areas as needed.
This role works in an oilfield manufacturing environment specializing in gas separators and sand separators for downhole applications.
The Saw Hand receives daily work assignments, production priorities, and operational direction from the Saw Lead while reporting directly to the Inventory Control and Purchasing Manager.
