Responsible for the concept, design, and fabrication of tooling and equipment for aerospace applications. This includes managing projects, performing stress analysis, and coordinating with vendors and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and cost objectives.
Requires a STEM degree with 2 to 5+ years of professional experience depending on the level. Proficiency in NX modeling and FEA software like Abaqus or Ansys is essential.
Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Principal Tool Engineer – Level 2/ 3 to join our team in Clearfield, UT.
Candidate will be responsible for the concept, design, engineering, fabrication drawings, inspection requirements, procurement requirements, verification requirements, and fabrication support for tooling and equipment for Aerospace applications.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
